His foster mom said that he is housebroken, and he will let you know when he needs something by barking, pacing, or scratching at a barrier. He has lived long enough to know he would prefer to be the only pet in his forever home. Bubba is a Pit Bull mix, and he turns six years old January 30th. Bubba was 80 pounds of love bug, his trainers at HFG have helped him to lose 11 pounds! He was a Velcro dog to his foster mom, and she found that he was lovable and loyal towards all people, both adults and children. He had his foster mom wrapped around his paw and she reached out for assistance from Home Fur Good. Bubba was in the home of a foster for the county shelter. Like a Big Boy? Bubba is ready to become your new favorite. Adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment by calling 60. The adoption fee is $150 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. She is not just a beautiful face she is a thinker ready for a challenge. Allegra also enjoys puzzle toys and mats. She will do best as an only pet, and let us be honest, after all these years of searching, she deserves all of the attention. Allegra loves to go for walks and would make a great companion for daily tours of the neighborhood. She also has some skin allergies, which Home Fur Good has easily treated with medicated baths. ![]() Allegra is currently on medication, for the OCD, which she will likely need to stay on for life. She needs to exercise her body and mind, so she does not have idle time and require the need to entertain herself with obsessive activities. When you are a bright girl like Allegra, you want to socialize and interact. Allegra will do all her tricks with hand signals. She is a smarty pants, she knows the signs for sit, paw and circle. Over the years Allegra has lost her hearing and due to low stimulation and exercise she has acquired OCD issues, like hyper focusing on lights. She turned eight years old on December 23rd. Allegra is a 50-pound Pit Bull mix ready to end the cycle and find her guaranteed forever home and family. Since 2019 Allegra has been in a cycle of being homeless to being adopted and repeat. She has every right to be disgruntled, but she chooses to always have a glass half full. Allegra approaches everyday with her positive attitude and enthusiastic outlook.
